HELLO SAILOR ‘WHIRLED’ TOUR

Hello Sailor has been busy over the last year. In June 2023 they supported English legends 10cc in NZ, then Nazareth and Dire Straits Legacy over the 23/24 summer holiday period and opened for Dragon on their sold out 10 date 50th anniversary tour in April.

Hello Sailor in 2024 is dedicated to keeping the music and memory of Dave McArtney and Graham Brazier alive and the current line-up is as close as fans will get to the band’s classic South Pacific Rock’n’Roll sound.

Powered by the indomitable rhythm section of Rick Ball on drums and Paul Woolright on bass, they have the Sailor energy and attitude. Harry Lyon has stepped up as lead vocalist and he Jimmy Taylor take care of weaving guitars. Stephen Small on piano and saxophone completes the package. Their shows feature Hello Sailor, Pink Flamingos and Graham Brazier favourites, hit songs from Harry’s back catalogue and his 2018 critically acclaimed hit solo-album “To the Sea”.
